Time is like a heartbeat
Never standing still.
Two years have simply come and gone
and you shoes have not been filled...
There's nothing in this tattered world
that can equal what you are.
There is no cure for this empty space
that has been left in my heart.
You live throughout my memories.
No one can take your place.
No other soul in this whole world
can be my saving grace.
I still know that when I feel alone
I should look up to the sky
Because I know you'll always be there
